DTDP is a monomeric plasticizer of high molecular weight giving better performance at high temperatures. It is a plasticiser especially suitable for application to the coating of electric wires and cables.

Among several advantages, the main ones are:

– Lower density compared to general use phthalates.
– Good electrical properties.
– Cost reduction when partially substituted in trimellitates and polymerics.
