DIAP (DiIsoAmyl Phthalate)

Introduction

DIAP is obtained from Isoamyl Alcohol (Ethanol with 5 carbons) originally from the fermentation process of sugar cane juice for creating ethanol. It is an alternative to DIBP and DBP, with the advantage of having a lower volatility.

This product is specifically recommended in the manufacture of compounds in footwear and general use hoses (eg garden hoses)
